What can i say, visit Venice was one of my dreams to visit. We we were there just few hours, it was lovely but it was raining and all of a sadden things got more interesting.
Visiting Venice
Venice, the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. It has no roads, just canals. So imagine walking in the narrow streets, doing a gondola ride with heavy rain. Even though we were so wet we had to change our clothes twice the place was magical.
Places we saw
We visited Venice just for few hours but we had the chance to visit:
Piazza San Marco, often known in English as St Mark's Square, is the principal public square of Venice, Italy, where it is generally known just as la Piazza.
We saw from our cruise room balcony, the Doge's Palace is a palace built in Venetian Gothic style, and one of the main landmarks of the city of Venice in northern Italy.
And of course the famous, Rialto Bridge is the oldest of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy.
